Best cuisine in the world

Maybe we should split this into cathegories of food types. For instance I'd vote asian for main food courses, but nobody beats europe when it comes to desserts.

Mexico is part of North America, last time I looked.

Good call. Weirdly though, it's the fresh fruit that's dodgy, not the meat and fish, which is great.

Never been to Thailand, but I'm going by (a) recipes and (b) some stalls that used to be in Croydon market. Oh, and (c) some videos on that site that sells Thai stuff 9name escapes me for the moment but I got my knives and my little barbecue thing from there, as well as some spices.

Try "som tam" if you've not tried it yet. It's weirdly difficult to get in Thai restaurants in the UK, but it's really popular in Thailand.

Heaven is where the police are British, the lovers French, the mechanics German, the chefs Italian, and it is all organized by the Swiss.

Hell is where the police are German, the lovers Swiss, the mechanics French, the chefs British, and it is all organized by the Italians.

For my money, lasagna and Neapolitan pizza rule the world, even though I love me some jiaozi and guotie. Ooo, and xiaolongbao, too!

Hell is where the police are American. Duh.

Nothing beats xiaolongbao and soy milk for a morning snack on your way home from a night out. Apart from egg pancakes.
