It would've been interesting to see and follow Boxing in its hey-day indeed, but I enjoyed listening to some older reporters and analysts on ESPN (such as PTI) wax about it and get their perspectives.

I can remember that bout. I am not into boxing, but my grandfather was and the hoopla was hard to avoid, given there were only 3 networks most people got at the time (4 iwth PBS) and that most people still read the local newspaper.

I never had a lot of respect for Frazier, simply because of all the back and forth dissing. By today's standards it would be pretty tame, but back then... However, I understand he did some good things later in life.

Just to add to that Mayweather/Pacquiao thing, those that have supported Mayweather throughout the years think the same things about PacMan that are being brought about Mayweather. Is the drug testing REALLY that big of a deal that he can't just do it to get the fight? Just playing devil's advocate...

And I always liked Frazier more than Ali, as he was never given the same hype as Ali and other heavyweight champs but literally could hang with any of them for 12 rounds.
