Voter ID would be useless, as is shortening the length of time that polling stations are open in Black communities.

I AM THE SOURCE!!!!!!!!!! RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRR

but you seem to only be able to consider one thing Juan, that is how few cases we know of, and that it isn't a big deal. Greekdog is overly concerned, IMO, about costs. I don't know what BBS is saying, and I think TGD kinda dragged him into this, but you guys overlook that it is simply the right thing to do. It's a natural expectation. Voting is far more important than anything else you have to show your ID for, and like the guy in the end of that video I shared asking minorities what they thought, he says "the only way you wouldn't want to have Voter ID is if you are crooked" And the one guy in the video who said he was against voter ID, his reason was "you should be able to be whoever you say you are".

I know TGD still won't be convinced of the necessity, but I would advise you to vote no then if you get a chance.

Don't lie! You know you are gonna be here posting oversized pictures for hours! Let it play in the backdrop as you troll. It can be your troll-track.

You will see that you are wrong, or else talking about something different than what I am talking about, because the biggest part of our problem was not same day registration, it was felons voting....1,100 of them

A poll tax, in any form is bad. People shouldn't have to buy the right to vote.

I have multiple reasons for not supporting voter identification. Here they are in order of importance (to me):

(1) Voter identification is a form of blocking people from voting. This, as far as I'm concerned, is as anathema to democracy as a poll tax or not permitting women to vote.
(2) Voter identification will cost the country money and grow the size of government. I indicated this as one of my reasons initially to attempt to appeal to your supposedly libertarian ideals. Given that you're a mainstream Republican, I should have known better.
(3) Voter identification laws won't stop the biggest problem with voting; namely counting the votes (see above in your Minnesota example).

When "I AM THE SOURCE" is your argument, I think you need to disregard that source.

3 good points. Whenever I hear about restrictions to voting and attempts to reduce turnout and participation, I get an uneasy sick feeling in my stomach. As TGD points out, it just seems like such anathema to democracy.

I don't think we ARE overlooking it, because I'm not convinced it IS "the right thing to do". I haven't actually seen anything that convinces me that it is, and many things that have convinced me it is not.

A critical thinker might wonder how you've managed to avoid getting the point.

I just did it for that post cuz it was funny cuz you said Bottomism so the joke was that the observation was that it was actually you making fun of yourself so it was funny so I said that to laugh everyone.

I don't know what pimpdave is up to anymore. I'm not sure he really cares.
I mean, he cares that he always gets nailed for shit everyone else does, but I don't think he cares about the forums anymore.

All you need to know is that there are .7 cases per state per year and a program should cost about $500,000 per state per year.

All that other information about how the elderly and Ronald Reagan don't have Birth Certificates is fluff for a true fiscal conservative.

You listen to the dumbest shit ever.

"My listeners are the only people who are brave enough to stand up for their true convictions. There are even politicians who are afraid" of something for some reason and we are just flattering you and making shit up as we go along so you'll listen to us and not think about what we are saying.
