instead of 2 people on the ballot, there should be like 10-15. everyone likes choices.

it could be like a battle royale amongst the politicians.

just think of all the pandering and cheapshots that would take place.

then let there be 6-8 year terms. that way theres less campaigning and more of doing the job that you promised you'd do. and less a chance of pulling the wool over the sheeps eyes for the second term.

On a more serious note, I think a lot of people sort of forget that credit cards are actuall loans.. very high interest loans that, while unsecured, will be paid off by taking all you own if you fail any of their terms (all printed in "extremely legible" micro-print)
