why dont you try speaking for yourself. speaking for millions of other people pretty much disqualifies whatever garbage you are spewing. your foul language only lends credence to the invalidity of your statement.

health care/new entitlement program being passed is a negative in an overwhelming majority of American's opinion. That is a fact, no matter how much you race-bait and name-call (still the least effective methods....)

Karel has an excellent point. The young, hip Democrats are loads more witchit than the "old fucks from the republican party" [sic]. Here are some of the youngest, hippest Dems in the Congress:

Rep. Steny Hoyer - Majority Leader (73 years young)
Image

Rep. Louis Slaughter - Chairwoman, Rules Committee (81 years young)
Image

Sen. Robert Byrd - President Pro Tempore (93 years young)
Image

Average Age of U.S. Congress, Democrats: 63
Average Age of U.S. Congress, Republicans: 62

Now, in point of clarification, as a diadectic socialist and affirmed atheist in solidarity with the international struggle for Marxism-Leninism, I'm criticizing the Democrat branch of The Party, not standing up for the Republican branch of The Party. (The United States only has one political party, but it has conveniently split into two marketing branches - one designed to appeal to persons of center-left ideology and one to those of center-right. This is similar to Yum Brands which owns Taco Bell - to appeal to those who like Mexican food - and KFC, to appeal to those who like chicken. At the end of the day, Yum Brands is still the one making the money regardless of whether you eat at Taco Bell or KFC).

well, i do more than name calling. whether or not I am right, at least I am dealing of the realm of right or wrong or better or worse. you are just sliming an entire group of people with racism that has been proven over and over again to not even be an issue. this forum has likewise already decided that the people who still think the tea party is racist, (given so much evidence they are not) is just a race baiter who is the true racist.

Interesting comment, considering a spokeswoman for the teaparty claimed, on Party Day, that the tea part is all Conservatives.

Conservative =/= Republican.
Independents can be Conservative

So can Democrats, for that matter.

Not the ones currently in Congress........that was proven with the health care votes.

Not really. Many conservatives were for the health care bill, because they believed (as do I) that it will lower health costs to society and would generally preserve the status quo best. In fact, a lot of opposition came not from fiscal conservatives or conservatives as traditionally defined, rather from right wing individuals who want their complete anti-abortion agenda pushed forward.

In fact, a lot of recent rhetoric is far from "conservative". It is more of a "knee jerk" flee to the polar opposite of anything the person speaking percieves to be "liberal" or even very slightly "socialist".

you sound obsessed with race and the color of peoples skin and with calling other people racist. go look in the mirror to find the biggest racist of all. You appear to be so racist your actually project your racism onto others. Normal people don't give a shit what color somebody's skin is, and judge people on their actions. It is the actions of Obama that piss us off.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
Guess what. The day has come. We don't judge Obama by the color of his skin, but by the contect of his character. It is you who can't seem to get over the color of his skin.

ROFL!! Many conservatives were for health care REFORM, not this law. It's amazing that you consider yourself conservative with what you post on this forum.......I guess that's the same thing that happened to the Republican party under Bush: self-described conservatives but liberals in their actions. With over 45% of the nation opposed to the law, there are a LOT more right wing people out there than anyone believed. =D>

Yeah she lives in her own little world.

You know, politicians do all kinds of crazy, unethical, unconstitutional and sometimes illegal things and very seldom get "punished" for it. It has become sort of a norm, and people don't get upset with these things like they should. So guess what folks, IT'S NOT GOING TO GET ANY BETTER unless the people START holding them accountable! I believe we are going to lose this Republic.

AT THE CLOSE OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION, a woman asked Benjamin Franklin what type of government the Constitution was bringing into existence. Franklin replied, ā€œA republic, if you can keep it.ā€

And I fear the people do not have the will to keep it. We are allowing the government to become way out of control and their may be no way to reign it back in. :(

I don't consider myself conservative, actually. I have said that I have been considered conservative by others, largely because of my religious views. In truth, I try to shy away from labels. They might have meant something once, but now they get shifted around so fast it makes one's head swim. Ronald Reagan would be a flaming liberal by today's standards.

I'm beginning to think you're just a troll. You're constantly making weird statements like that. Either that, or you kinda have an idea of what you think, but haven't fully formed your own opinions yet, and just like thinking to yourself that you're somehow bigger than everyone else because you don't subscribe to "labels".

No dude..

His policies on arms, abortion, capital punishment....just about all of it is liberal by today's standards.

Perhaps the best example of his liberalism would be his famous Reaganomic financial policies...

I'll grant you some leeway on this argument, but exactly zero Republicans in either house voted for the bill. Since I imagine you agree that at least some Republicans in Congress are what you call traditional fiscal conservatives, then it doesn't follow that a lot of conservatives were for the bill.

The "flaming" bit refers mostly to his views on immigration. However, by today's standards, I think even his economic theories would be considered "liberal".

Seems his views on music were even a bit "unorthodox".. lol

That proved that occasionally real people's wishes overrule what the conservative junkies want them to believe. Sadly, the touters of democracy seem to think that is only a good idea when it is THEIR ideas that are accepted.
