and that he rides on the coattails of chance: he happened to be the mayor of NYC on 9/11 and has milked that into his current position. he has no national experience in politics! he hasn't even held a position for years. how could he possibly be the best candidate?

I am aware of his abortion stance and disagree with it. Of those listed he is IMO the best choice. Experience? Obama has very little. I believe Rudy to be a genuinely sincere man.... something we have been lacking in recent elections.
I'm picking from the group given, none of them are perfect. And liberals won't ever get my vote.

He decent...a very bi-partisan guy, but still, what did he do before 9/11? If 9/11 never happened, do you think he would be running? No. And if he did, do you honestly think he would have a chance in the primaries? No. The only thing that pisses me off about him is that he is running pretty much on that and only that.

And I'm guessing that you wouldnt vote democrat b/c your a christain conservative right? Man, those republicans really did a good job at brainwashing your mind into making you believe that they are 'the party of Christ'. If you take a look at the churches actual stance, you would see that they are neither republican or democrat. They are pro-gun control (Democrat), anti-abortion(Republican), anti-death penalty(Democrat), anti-stem cell research (Republican), and anti-gay marraige(Republicans). I just cannot stand brainwashed Christian Conservatives. What hurts me, and makes me lose a large amount of respect for the Christian faith is that you guys can't figure this out. You want to be a real christian? Vote independant, otherwise please don't bother at all.
I am assuming that you, being a Christian Conservative, are anti-gay marraige. Why? How does this even remotley effect you as a person? Even if the "holy sanctity" of marraige isn't protected, who cares? Again, how at all does this effect you? Does it somehow make your marraige void? What you are doing by denying these people the right to marry is dehumanizing. For me, I believe people or born heterosexual or not, based on genetics, but even giving you the benefit of the doubt that it is not, the reasoning behind not allowing these people to marry still doesnt make sense to me.
I wont even go into abortion and stem cell research b/c that all depends on when you believe life begins (and whether you like orphans, and "life" going to waste in freezers while other people are paralyzed, are missing limbs, suffering from serious brain and heart diseases and even dying from diseases that stem cells could cure, or not).

That is where you are wrong. Two people who love each other getting married doesn't affect you in anyway. They may move beside you, but who cares. They are just another married couple. You don't have to talk to them, like them, or give them anything. However, pedophiles rapping your's and others children does. Weed becoming legal and being able to simply purchase it at any old corner store does, because you are being exposed to it, and seeing adds for it, and see people smoking it on the streets. A mass invasion of illegals does affect you a lot as well. They get jobs that could be filled by an unemployed American and possibly put a drain on the economy.

Abortion
Stem cell research
Iraq

Do not assume to know what I am or what I believe. I'd go into brainwashing of the LEFT but I digress. I have come to my political stances on my own, thank you very much. I ALSO believe in ABSOLUTE right and wrong. Which is why I am against gay marriage. You are right, it doesn't effect me... but neither does tougher sentences for pedophiles, keeping weed illegal or securing our boarders against the mass invasion of illegals!
I am:
Pro-life
Anti-death penalty
Anti-welfare programs
Anti-gay marriage
Pro-gun control (not ban)
Pro-Israel
Anti- drug legalization
Anti-stem cell research (see Pro-life stance)
As for how"real Christians" vote...you can't lump them into any one party. For reasons I can't possibly fathom, there are Christians that vote Democrat. If ANY party can be classified as "Anti-God" it is the Democratic Party hands down. Now, where Jesus may not be a card carrying member of the vast right-wing conspiracy, He sure has a lot more in common with the conservatives.
