Why is that disrespectful to baseball? A 6 runs is not insurmountable lead. If the losing team is still going to try to score runs why shouldn't the team that is leading try to score more runs. This box score shows it isn't impossible to catch up and make a game out of it.

So you know more than ex-professional players? Because those think (as well as anyone who knows about baseball) that it was classless.
You do get it was a BUNT single? I'm not saying they could not score more runs, I'm talking about the way.
This is my last post on this matter, it's obvious that those who are responding to it don't know what I'm talking about.
Yes I do know what a bunt single is. I would expect a professional ball player to give his best shot at getting on base at anytime during the game. So if a bunt isn't OK what about a walk? I think if he got on base and caught your team with their pants down shame on them. They were expecting him to swing away at the ball and not bunt. Sleeping on the job I say.
