More tax payer money will be wasted as Manning is already suing the Military for hormone treatment to become more like a woman.

He exposed an unpunished war crime and details of a system that regularly engages in crimes against humanity, both of which are being committed in our name. The American people deserve to know what their government is up to.
What is it the American people did not know the government was up to, as far as being at war...
Detailings of multiple instances of civilian casualties that were covered up: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/jul/25/afghanistan-civilian-deaths-rules-engagement

These are a handful of examples. I haven't gone through all of the leaked documents myself, but there's obviously a lot more where that came from.
Edit: Oh, and obviously the Collateral Murder video.
Phatscotty wrote:btw, you guys need to start referring to Bradley Manning as Chelsae Manning. No more him or he, it's her or she.
Bradlay Manning is a trans-sexual

Scott. He provided verification. That is something usually beyond what you require from your analytical approach.
I never needed verification.
That explains a lot.
If you look at the part you deleted, it means one does not need verification for something one already knows.
Don't go Woodruff.

I read the deleted, but it didn't excuse your unwillingness to rely on verification. Anyway can 'know' anything since that would depend on how much they think they know. Verification is very useful and necessary because it can correct one's own bias and other errors. Without verification, you would 'know' without a shadow of a doubt that all conspiracy theories are true.

*Cough* Circle Logic*Cough* Maybe nothing for you but refer to posts above, I do believe this has already been answered.

and what impact did that have and where? (anyone)

That wasn't a result. Maybe you can reword it better. I didn't ask what Manning did (what you think the answer is), I asked what the results are.

Yeah, treason is treason, and even his accusers didn't charge him with treason. Don't let me stop you from employing your Red Scare level of debate, though.

Bales is not free. He is charged with 17 counts of murder, along with other charges. His trial is upcoming and he's been in prison since March 16, 2012. In no way, shape or form has anyone said "Ok, you are free to go". The only thing for certain is that Bales won't get the death penalty. That's about the only thing that's been determined so far, punishment wise.
