I thought the moral of the story was to f*ck Cinderella before she turns into a pumpkin. Oh wait....

As good as any. Nothing to see here.

Any person can kill 100+ people if he wanted. If they are going to tighten psychilogical tests to pilots they might as well perform the tests to any construction worker that has access to explosives or any person that has access to bullets.

so basically this copilot had been suffering in the past from severe depression and just had a note from his shrink saying he had to go on sick leave for a few weeks. He torn the paper and still went to work. He had just been dumped by his girlfriend, and when the flight commander went to take a leak he probably had this "geniusly impulsive idea" to crash the plane. ffs.

Horrendous accident! Stupid copilot!!
I dont think u should kind of demean this ...
Keep it on topic its not fun when people die.

Technically speaking im suprised that we havent solve the "survival of the black box" issue.

And its kind of scary, there have been a lot of flight accidents lately.... and they have not been aeroflot planes this is not good!

By the way i hate flying! O:)

France will start requiring a second crew member to be in the cockpit at all times... a rule already in place in the United States.

http://www.dw.de/germanwings-crash-prom ... a-18344584

So France asked the U.S. to investigate, and now is asking the U.S. to come up with its safety rules.

Without even knowing I can tell you the current tests are fine. I know because there are have been 32432423 million flights and this is the first in which a pilot does that.

But knowing people, and imagining how it was all over the news (I don't watch news and I heard about this) I can imagine how they're going to use all this attention to deliver a speech on how they are going to make them take 4 years of psychological tests, man, even Obama might adress the nation telling his fellow americans how there will be a war on pilots now and now we have to be at the ariport 4 hours before the flight and 5 for international flights.

Militarizing everything and controlling everything and surveillance everywhere and declaring war and all those shit reactions are never the answer.

neet, this is the 5th case of a pilot committing suicide crashing his plane on purpose.

It's a bit like 9/11, if you're being objective (clearly I'm not) you can say they (al Qaeda) had a massive publicity stunt in taking the towers and they did, full stop. The co pilot on the Germanwings flight evidently wanted to die and he killed himself. That is tragic in itself and to the 149 other people on the flight but remember 300 people die each day in Sudan from lack of clean drinking water, is that right too?

I was having this discution the other day with someone... which is worse, a suicide djihadist that does it for his cause or a suicidal pilot with ego problems? yeah i know, djihadists have ego problems too.
Actually it's pretty much the same thing... those djihadists are moved by a totally selfish cause... but a different kind of selfishness.

I don't know what this guy did is more like all these high school/university massacres, that kind of perversion.

Regarding soudan; this has nothing to do with it, bad nutrition and lack of drinkable water isn't something you can compare to a mass murder. I'm not saying one thing is less fair than the other, but a deliberate human intention to kill changes a lot. If the water was poisoned by people on purpose that would be another story.

I'm saying mass murder of 150 people in a plane is bad enough, however, death on a massive scale is easily quantified. George Bush ,President of The United States, bless his soul, warranted the use of cruise missiles in "the war on terror". Precision bombs that just eliminated the "bad guys" included at the very least hundreds of casualties but more likely tens of thousands. Not to mention the water-boarding CIA. I may have to burn my Beach Boys LPs at some point but no ones given me guidance yet? Where's Bob when you need him?

Seriously though what the f*ck is wrong with this guy?

Okay you're depressed, okay your chick dumped you and okay you wanna kill yourself.

Check into a hotel, go down to the corner score an ounce of china white, go back to the hotel room snort the whole fucking thing in one big fat rail and lay back. Leave the rest of the world out of your problems.

If you wanna die just go and fucking die, no reason to take others.

From what I understand right now the copilot went berserk once the flight commander went to take a leak. I don't think there's anything more despiseful someone could do.
what are your theories?

Is that where you developed your love for Mountain Goats? sorry his missed not run into you a few weeks Earlier.

I have a couple of Theories on this one.

1, German is going for the third time lucky....... is this the start to World War 3?

2, There is an election coming up and the Politicians will do any thing for a photo op, and these days it seems they are falling over each other to race from one Disaster to another.

3, It was the missing AirMalaysia plane and the CIA was trying to depose off after it was used it to Drop smart Bombs on Yemen to save Dumb American kids from Terrorists

Sorry if i sound so cold, but there are a lot of other-things worse in this world than 150 people dying on a plane because of 1 fruit loop and we don't blink an eye.

anyway wish me luck, it won't stop me flying with AirAsia again this year

uhm. I heard he was depressed. The depressed brain doesn't work like yours. IT's a completely different thing. While you say, for instance, "oh whatever, anyway, i'm gonna do this shit, and grab a beer later. When is Mike's wedding? Damn it, i think I need new shoes. Whatever, I still have 3 months, here it comes Rachel, she's so fucking hot... damn. Ok, back to work, lalalalalalalallaaaaaaaa", a depressed person just simply can't go from rummination over something to a "whatever, i'll have a beer later", nope, he tries hard, and 3 seconds later he's back at "3 months for mike's wedding, and i don't have shoes, they're fucking expensive. what if i cant afford them? everybody will notice my shoes are old. and they will all talk about me, and i will snap in the middle of the wedding, this fucking life sucks, i should kill myself, it's the best really, this has to stop, rachel, she's so pretty, but she doesn't talk to me, the other day i said hi and she just smiled, it was clear i said hi wanting to talk to her but she just passed by. she probably thinks i'm a loser, i will never get married every girl thinks im a loser. I can't even buy decent shoes."

A depressed person has hell in his head all the time. Even when he dreams. A depressed person does drastic things because doing them or deciding to doing them releases chemicals in his brain that are like water for a dehydrated person.

So, yeah, it was a shitty thing to do. But it's not like it was a regular brain like you know it to be, and was evil.
