Is the universe expanding? It's certainly not a universal conclusion and this photo strongly suggests it's wrong.

Is the image of God a mushroom?

Why does the photo suggest that it is wrong.
For that matter what does it really mean to say that the universe is expanding? This is an interesting question in that the actual science of "space" is exceptionally vague at best. Is there a "conservation of space?" Can space be created or destroyed? Does space itself move? How fast can space move?_sabotage_ wrote:Fungi were the early dominant life form. So many things wrong with this it's hard to begin. One might even call it argument from stupidity. The location of where you place your glands is a minor evolutionary trait. Fungi, aren't the fastest moving of organisms, if I recall correctly (HINT THEY DON'T MOVE AT ALL). Now internal digestion is generally more efficient than external because a lot of the nutrients can get away, but let's not get into an argument of who is better, because that has nothing whatsoever to do with evolution at that scale.
Now I can't speak for you, but I'm generally a Fun Guy, which I think is a part of my evolutionary heritage.

That's a good one. Matter is information. Information is matter. It's sort of like the notion of particle / wave, where the answer is both depending on your point of view. Note that "energy" as we normally think of it, came later and the universe started out completely opaque.
Until God said, "let there be light" and suddenly BAM, the universe became transparent.
warmonger1981 wrote:Information must have a designer. Matter cannot create information. That's basically saying a rock came up with the formula to create itself. Information must have come first to give that rock a blueprint for creation.

Anti mater contains information. Photons contain information. Who knows, even space itself may contain information.

Everything is held together by a frequency. When God spoke that was actually frequency. It's just that the ancients who were uneducated were unable to understand the concept. They understood sound as its physically viable.
notyou2 wrote:If god created man in his image, why do we need food? Air? Eye glasses? Dentists?
God wouldn't need any of these things.

tzor wrote:notyou2 wrote:Anti-matter is the polar opposite of matter, therefore, false information is anti-matter.
Anti-matter is not the polar opposite of matter. (And whose pole are you using anyway?) An anti-particle combines with a particle to produce a photon.
The set of all things consists of all things true and all things false. False information does not combine with information to produce ... no idea.
Note to self: don't even try to get started on super-symmetric particle theory.
