The constant liars are spreading false claims of others lying.

The new claims of the million-dollar Biden bribes are even more obviously inconsistent lies.

The claim of Hunter violating the law by trying to pressure companies using his Dad's position? The date on that is while Joe Biden is out of office ignoring other problems.

Evangelical leaders at a convention have been praising and worshiping Trump, who is known for his lack of sexual morals, his personal corruption, his bigotry, his constant lies, and his lack of religious knowledge and sentiments.

We live in a world where many lack common sense, integrity, mirrors, and any sense of shame.

If the top 1% paid 99% of income taxes, it wouldn't mean they are unfairly taxed it just means they make all the money and the 99% make peanuts. The only thing this stat suggests is that the 1% are way richer now than the 99% then they were in 2000. It doesn't mean they are paying higher rates, or paying an unfair share. It just means they own 40+% of the pie. Now they do pay slightly higher average rates at around 26%, vs 22.5% for top 5 and 20% for top 10 but it's by no means insanely skewed towards tax the rich.
$150,000 annual income is taxed $30,000 and he has 120,000 of cash to live off of for one year.
$150,000,000 annual income is taxed 39,000,000 and he has $110,000,000 of cash to live off that year.
If you look ONLY at federal income tax, you can't with a serious face say this is unfair to the $150m/year earner and that there is no way the USA could raise taxes on him so cutting spending is the only way.

This sentence (bolded) is NOT necessarily the only way to interpret the data. It is one possible situation but it is not “the only thing” the stats mean.

The $150K earner likely ‘burdens’ the tax system (i.e. receives more individual benefits) than the $150M earner. He/She likely sends kids to public school; the $150M earner likely sends kids to private school but still pays taxes that go to the schools. The $150M earner will get no financial aid for college and will not get any other benefits. Yet he/she pay 100 times more to income taxes than the $150K earner. The $150M earner also likely pays more taxes in other ways… higher property taxes, more in sales taxes, etc.

I understand the higher earner benefits by the protection of the US legal and military system… and I understand he/she should contribute more because he/she can afford to do so. Yet at what point is it “enough”.

The whole premise of the left is that the “Ultra Rich don’t pay their fair share.”. The implication to the uneducated and uninformed is that the “rich pay less”… many many people actually think the rich pay less than the average person. That’s simply untrue. You can say they “could afford to pay more”… but you can’t say they pay less. The whole “fair share” argument is subjective because some socialists will say they should pay more; even if the rate (at the highest bracket) was 50% or 60% or 75%… some people would still claim that the rich weren’t paying their “fair share”.

Is it more reasonable than massive cuts in spending? I thought you wanted a balanced budget/surplus... it's only reasonable to cut spending to achieve that goal because it's unreasonable to charge a 150m earner and extra 5% and take him to 30% overall?
