What's wrong with being objectified anyways? I pass people everyday that I'd like to be my coin operated toy, or ugh, put a bag on your head. . Males get objectified, females get objectified, who cares. I know that the outward appearance is only about 10% of what a person is about, but I still have my opinion about that, everyone does.

Ask about physical preferences all you want.

I don't like either one of their faces, which are weird similar. They're pretty, but not hot.
I voted Drew because I like blonde and bigger tits.
Titties win.

in ya face mets and nietzsche, the lady has spoken! :P

ps: i agree they have something wierdly similar.

Obviously people here is old and don't know how beautiful Michelle Monaghan is.

But I think that if someone is losing is Metsy.

i mean, he's more feminist that women. We can agree that it's not cool to alienate not-photoshopped women, but I know that women talk about men in the same way, althouhg for some reason the fixate in things like nose and arms, besides the obvious butt.

We are even expected to behave this way. And women use it to their advantage with those tight jeans or short skirts. I think Metsy is overly sensitive to the subject.

Actually while I agree that Mets may be a bit OTT on the subject, he has a point. I am a pretty tall girl and a normal US 8 yet I've been told that I am fat to my face by the opposite sex. At the time I was really sick and had put on a little weight from not being able to go walking but still wasn't overweight. ATM my sister is killing herself to stay skinny. She thinks that she needs to eat nothing, smoke and destroy her health for what exactly. She used to have weight issues but wasn't fat. Nothing joining a gym and building some muscle wouldnt fix. Men can be awful fuckers but it is Hollywood that has it like this. Obviously not all guys. No woman would ever tell a man who was simply a healthy weight that he was fat. There is quite a difference in how the sexes are portrayed by the media. This is why women get a bit sensitive about it.

Nothing wrong with asking who is prettier. That's an okay question IMO because its simply about a persons face really. Its the hot or not threads that piss me off.

well there's no real standards and it depends on the person... men like women within a big range of weight proportions. You can look fat for some and just right for others... I mean some guys like girls borderline anorexic and others morbidly overweighed.
I don't believe all the hollywood/top models/fashion magazine excuses. Those are not the ones that make a man's taste. More important factors would be what their female part of the family looks like or what previous relationships/crushes looked like; and what they look like themselves.
And having a beautiful or ugly face sure is a more important factor than the current weight (if we are not talking about extreme weights one way or the other).
And of course woman tell men they should exercice to look fitter even when they're remotely overweighted.

I don't give a crap for me, that's my point... But plenty of girls have issues because of shit like that. I've had so much said to me by online jerks in games like evony that I'm pretty indifferent to most comments IRL. :p

Just ignore them (the girls).

If a man say that directly to a woman he's a dick. And he would be a dick about your your figure, your sandwich making, your ironing. Just ignore him.

Seriously thouhg, that's the line I was telling Mets we shouldn't cross, the point of directly alienating women because they notice we're talking about their hotness. Like, for instance, if you're in the age rank (not an old lady for instance) your coworkers will talk about you, probably the first weekend after they met you (at the irish pub having a guinnes) and given that they know you it will be affected by personality as well, but what they have to make sure is that you don't know!

However, all this has not much to do with what we are doing here, because they're two actresses, and though MEts argue that they only want to be considered because of their acting, they both have probably a couple of plastic surgeries already, and they payed to get those photoshoots, trying to look pretty.

While I agree that women are more judged on physic than men by the society in general, it isn't true that women would never tell that to a guy, women can also be extremely mean to guy with a bit of overweight. Women also judge men on physic and also say nasty things in their face.

Both sides can be mean to overweight people. I mean a guy who is not overweight but not a skinny malink or muscleman. Normal healthy weight. It happens to normal healthy weight women all the time. Society is ridiculous. Lol.

And nietzsche, I can honestly say no. I might say someone was attractive or not ... Or that they were a really nice person. However, I never found myself picking someone apart based on their body... That's just... Ugh. Let's face it, we all have things that attract us. Like I'm not going to date someone who is obese. That's their lifestyle choice and its unattractive as is the lifestyle that goes with it. But I wouldn't discuss that with the girls. Its mean. My close friends are nice people anyway. I've never heard them at that.

I hear my male work colleagues at it all the time about new female colleagues and clients. Lol it is more a male thing. Some women do it but it seems like its more a guy thing.

How in the world anyone finds Barrymore attractive is beyond me.
Her acting might be ok but there's no way she would make the top 100 most attractive list if I were to make one of Hollywood actresses.

Therefore, I voted Michelle and would do so again every time. They aren't on the same planet.

You're right, they're not even on the same planet.

Drew Barrymore is a full-blown superhottie. Devastatingly seductive eyes that could make a man melt even if the rest of her was nothing, but the rest of her isn't nothing. Beautiful figure, big jugs, fullsome lips, amazing legs.

The other broad is a flat-chested tomboy. Kinda cute in a girl-next-door-that-would-help-you-disassemble-the-lawn-mower kind of way, but not remotely close to feminine and definitely nothing special. Furthermore, who is she? I gather that she's an actress of some kind, but I don't remember any movie she's been in. That in itself should say something. Totally average, totally unmemorable.

Drew Barrymore may have been hot in 1998 for the Wedding Singer, but I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot stick now that she's turned 40.

<sigh> Children and their myopic age prejudices.

I'd still give my right arm to f*ck Susan Sarandon, and she's 68. I saw her a few days ago on Letterman, and she was still every bit as smoking hot as she was in 1975. If you've got that magical je ne sais qui, it doesn't just go away.

It is not universal. Mary-Louise Parker is older than my mom and I would throw away a marriage to sleep with her.

Go seek medical attention. You've clearly lost all ability to see and think clearly.

Drew Barrymore is nothing like you've described her. Like, at all.

Five hours in make up and proper lighting makes a minor difference me thinks.

There was a local interest reporting girl here that was tug-a-licious, but off camera she was purported to induce dry heaves.

Let's face it. Men and women do think differently. There was that Pippa Middleton girl, sister of Kate. At the royal wedding men wouldn't stop talking about her ass. Like lol. Guys were going on about her everywhere. And due to the hype... Idiot women wanted to be her. All I could think was... She's not even that pretty... A plain Jane. Her sister is far better looking.

Both Barrymore and Monaghan are pretty. Definitely prettier than pippa with her harsher features. You guys are just ripping on them because they are famous. :P

There are several male actors who are not even that good looking... Yet they have a lot of talent so are judged on that.

I have met several famous people through musical stuff. I do amateur musical theatre but sometimes cross paths with professionals on a few projects where they were looking for singers. I can say that they do not at all look like they do on TV. Even the male singers had a foot of makeup with fillers. With no make up on they look a lot older and a lot more "normal".
