My brother in law is still testing negative but he has moved out of his house because his wife tested positive. We have not seen them since that dinner in December.

We have not been around anyone, even though our isolation periods have ended. I have picked up some take out, a prescription and some dog food, since my isolation period ended.

Today our daughter returns to work.

I have covid at the moment. At the beginning I was horribly short of breath but (no doubt due to being triple-jabbed) that only lasted a short while. Since then the symptoms for the most part have been no worse than a mild day of allergies except for one thing - I'm hella tired, and sleeping about 20 hours a day.

On behalf of my Jewish brethren, I will say that you comparing your survival of (apparently) the mild omicron variant of COVID to surviving time in ANY German Concentration Camp is an insult and disparaging.

(It goes without saying for those of us who have turned our lives upside down, not to mention those who lost loved ones, that proudly flaunting freedoms and refusing to comply with optional measures whilst alternately saying "measures aren't working" and "it is no big deal" is just extremely selfish nonsense. I am not as mean-spirited as saxi and so I have found it not appropriate to advertise the regret of many in that position, but any idiot can see. Then again there is always deep-as-hell denial. Last night, I met a man who in November had lost his 21 year old son who "suddenly had a cough and a cold and nobody can say what it was". Really nice man.)
