Energy drinks have kind of a reverse effect on me so I don't drink them...
I did try monster once and I'd have to agree with your summary.

I personally think it tastes better than Rockstar. Rockstar tastes like caffeinated liquid cotton to me.
Still, Red Bull is better in taste. I don't consider Full Throttle to be an energy drink, it's just a more sugary soda in its effect on me...

You guys don't have V. You are missing out.
I see Monster everywhere, but I have not yet drunk it. Though, energy drinks make me tired, like all caffeine.

Never had it. My daughter is addicted to them though.

I don't need energy drinks. If I need energy........................ I sleep.

Monster is too sweet for me. I prefer Rockstar, which has a more dry, alcoholic taste. In my opinion.

One minute of moderate exercise every now and then helps get the blood flowing. Like pushups or situps. Nothing fancy really, and it's extremely cheap (gotta pay a LITTLE bit for more food, huh, or maybe not, maybe you can forego the gym membership assuming you got one or forego the exercise routine all together).

Agree 100%. I bought the cherry version once, when it was quite important that I stayed up longer than I could unaided, and I couldn't do much more than sip at it every time I started to lose focus. Even that was enough to set off my gag reflex. I know they're putting a lot of caffeine in there, but their attempt to mask it made it even worse.

Your body is a car... it needs a certain amount of fuel to run perfectly, and some models will go 100 years.
If however, you continually run jet fuel in your car, it will go fast, and may be fun...but it will undoubtedly stop running quicker.

I had a student when I was an instructor in the Air Force who lost both of his kidneys to that crap. I am not kidding. It was all he drank...he's now on dialysis.

Hell yeah!
I don't drink energy drinks very often, but if I do ... it's Rockstar

I personally think all energy drinks taste the same, and if I'm not in the mood to stay awake, no amount of caffiene will help. I can drink all the Mtn. Dew I want and go to sleep immediately, or I can have non-caffinated pop and stay awake for hours.
But anyways, I think energy drinks are silly, why pay for an over priced drink that doesn't taste good?

I drink Rockstar for the taste much more than for the energy - I like it.

Indeed -
I rarely ever drink any of them. Only when I used to drive from Adelaide to Melbourne (bout 9 hour drive) - but now that I don't have a car anymore, and don't do that drive, I never drink it.
There was a 17 year old kid where my dad lives (small country town, 4000 population) who had a cardiac arrest and died because he drank 5 red bulls a day. Obviously he was a moron for drinking that many, but i think it still says something about the drinks. Sometimes I think these drinks could be carcinogenic -

I think they all say don't have more than 3 per day. Yes it's terribly bad for you, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to stay awake and write that paper/lab/problem set.

The only one I've EVER tasted was Red Bull, which I compare to Sprite and piss. If I need caffeine I go with Dr. Pepper but I never really "need" it.
P.S.- No, I do not know what piss tastes like.
...or do I?

Energy drinks are stupid. I wish people would stop buying them so they'd stop making them, and I wouldn't have to see Red Bull and Rockstar sponsoring every "extreme" sport known to man.
That stuff is only cool for dumbass teenagers who think it's edgy. If it was really beneficial to you, or gave you that much more energy, you'd see professional athletes endorsing it or drinking it on the sidelines. You don't. Because even they're not that stupid.
Even stupider is the new trend of energy drink/alcohol mixes. I mean, a Jager bomb is one thing, but a canned beer & energy drink combo is idiotic.

I used to drink caffienne a lot, but I had more or less stopped energy drinks about a year ago and have not even had caffienne in the last 3 weeks or so. Why? Well, when you have insomnia, you really don't need caffienne in you either.

What are you saying? I don't think energy drinks have reverse effects on body because I got very good results. If you are still in doubt you can use home madeGreen drink that are very good for body.
