The "Heartless Bastards" top the charts......

One I have always thought would be excellent is "Youth in Asia" for some kids from out east....see how wonderfully it rolls off the tongue? (i.e. ....euthanasia.....I am sure you caught it but....)

Any other good isdeas for aspiring kids out there?

here in Belgium we have Absynthe Minded which I always found a cool name?

other band names I like for some reason or another:

- Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly
- Glasvegas (a band from Glasgow.. I think lol)
- The Noisettes - good music and the name reminds me of those awesome 60's girl groups like The Supremes, The Vandella's, The Chiffons, The Shangri-La's etc... I love those names

I don't necessarily like the bands I post, for most of them it's just their name :)

One of the bands around here is called Broken Ohms. I like that one.

I'm sure I'll be back to this thread with more.

Holy Fuck, is another great one.

There were two bands where I grew up whose names deserve a mention: Free Beer and Stripper, and Full Support. Also, Angela Rippon's Bum. Some friends of mine once formed a band called The Pornographs, which I thought was a great name. I designed a logo for them, which was various nude silhouettes making out in various ways so as to form the letters.
When I was a kid I always wanted to form a band called The Spooks, not because I could sing or play an instrument, but just because I liked the name.

I like Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards. Kind of innocuous compared to others I guess.

Yes, that band actually exists, as a bonus, all their songs are licensed under creative commons, so you're pretty much free to upload, download and remix however you want, though maybe not to sell them for profit (at least I don't know of any of their songs that aren't under some CC license).

My band's name was "Pie After Friday." We fell apart because I was the only one who actually cared what we sounded like.

The Incredible Shrinking Dickies were a great band. Their most famous song was a punk version of Knights in White Satin. I think they just called themselves "The Dickies" for that.

Chix Dig It and The VonZippers were local bands here.

I was in one where the drummer suggested Muffin Juice but the singer was female and didn't like it, I wasn't keen on it either, after I left they became Sitting Duck, glad I was gone. An ok named band I played with was, Martial Law.
