Which operating system do you use, Macintosh, Microsoft, Linux? Now, discuss (and don't complain if there has already been a thread about his, I don't give a shit).

I personally use a mac, but if I was more computer adept, I would use a linux. I will not, however, use windows because microsoft sucks more than I do.

You mean like antivirus, a one-click mouse, and the ultimate time wasting garage band?

Why is it that everyone that has a mac never ever wants to go back to windows? But everyone that has a windows couldn't care less? I'm willing to bet that everyone that has windows and wants to keep windows has never even tried linux or mac.

I have Windows, have used MacOS and Linux, and don't want to use them.

Mac's are OK provided you have a brain of a 2 year old, but as soon as you want to upgrade .... it's near enough impossible. You can't build your own Mac, and you can't change the one you've got ... making you entirely reliant on Apple.

Linux is OK, I have a copy of Knoppix on me at all times, but I don't use it generally because I can't get the software that I want for it. I really can't be arsed messing about with Linux trying to get it to work properly when Windows, for all it's faults, isn't too bad provided you don't jump in on the first version of whatever new OS they're putting out (Vista at the moment). I'd rather have XP until all of the bugs have been removed from Vista.

But there you go ... Macs are pish and Linux doesn't do the job that *I* want it to do.

o really? you can, you just have to know how!
and p.s you proved to have a brain of a 2 years old, windows is just easyer to do things with, while with mac you can do more, and make it easyer for your self, you must just find it out how to do it, with the newest mac you can get back all your deleted stuff etc. and more things

and you can only hack a mac with all ports open and than its still unusable, also mac doesn't have that much viruses, i have all my life a mac (i am 16) and never had any virus

you can buy ram, hard disks etc.

I use Microsoft.

I never tried using a mac, but I've tried using Linux and Novell before. In my opinion, both of them are very difficult to navigate and not very user-friendly.

Man you guys make the Mac sound like it's the best in the world! It's so good, one try and you'll never look back! It seriously kicks Microsoft's ass! That must be why it's the #1 undisputed OS IN THE WORLD!

Oh.....wait...it's not? Less than 5% of the worldwide market?

Why do you think that is?
