For those who don't know WWF is owned by Zynga, the same company that owns the 'Vile games one Facebook. They went public with much faanfare and the stock dropped like a rock. Almost all of the senior staff and a lot of the original developers took to the liferafts because their options had become worthless (the stock was lower than their option to buy). TREFIS doesn't have WWF listed in ZYNGA's breakdown. It's a purely advertising revenue stream and from what I have seen the ads are few and far between. These days they generally promote their own games on WWF.
In short, it's not really a fair trade. Lack would have lost money on the deal.
But I'll end this with one word.
