I have nothing to hide, the admins see my every move, every lock, merge etc it is ALL logged.

Woodruff, I like you, and I'm being quite honest about that. Throwing a big tantrum is not going to help anything.

Locking a thread is NOT a punishment. Locking a thread is the first line of defense in order to let the participants in an argument cool down before it gets past the point of no return. When a mod locks your thread, he is actually trying to help you. He wants you to take a quick breather and cool down. In many cases threads are unlocked later; in others they are not, but either way it's NOT a disciplinary action, but a preventative one.

Looking at the original thread, looks like Scotty was stepping out of line more than you were, so the cool-down action is aimed at him also, not just you, so don't be taking it personally.
