DON'T WATCH ROCK OF AGES!

It had good music with decent singing, and that's about the only positive I got from it.

Tom Cruise played, well, Tom Cruise. An egotistical, narcisistic, has been.
The two main characters were about as shallow as, well, Tom Cruise. Did a good job singing, but makes you woner what the people were thinking when they created their characters.

Just avoid this movie. Even if you're a fan of classic rock, avoid this garbage. The whole plot is just shallow. If you like the music, just go buy the soundtrack, or better yet, the original albums. Either way, no point in watching this garbage.

Alec Baldwin? That's got to be funny. No? I'm pretty sure I'll have to watch it.

Really? I loved it, I think you have to be ready for a cheesy musical when you watch it.

His part was actually one of the few I liked. A little twist thrown in, but overall, his was probably the best.

There's cheesy, and then there's shallow. This movie was shallow. Even for a movie that's supposed to take place during the late 80s.

One of the plots, sort of. There's like 3 plots going on at once.

You have Tom Cruise being Tom Cruise.
The 2 main characters that want to make it big in the rock buisiness.
And then you have Alec Baldwin and the British comedian (forget his name) who are trying to keep their night club running (and honestly, probably the only redeeming plotline of the movie, to an extent as it was more for comedic purposes than anything).

No, not dead. Not dead at all.

The British guy is Russel Brand. He's pretty funny and was married to Katy Perry for a year or so. She looks funny yet is pretty hot.

Do you know who Rich Hall is? He does a pretty good bit on Tom Cruise.
