Is there a rock band that produces songs that are more fun than the Black Keys's songs? I just listened to Gold on the Ceiling for the fifth time and I wanted to get up and dance in my office.

I was always kind of surprised at the Black Keys. They have been around for forever, but only recently became pretty big.

Their other (less recent) albums are less fun, but still wonderful.

Depends on what you consider fun. I find Chevelle's Hats Off To The Bull fun, but you'll probably disagree and get all music elite on me and tell me how I have no class. Which is redundant, because I know I have no class.

I feel like this is the right place to mention that Andrew WK is now a cultural ambassador to Bahrain.

I never heard of them until a little over a year ago. I really dig 'em, I've got all their albums. I know Auerbach has pretty similar taste in old blues that I do, and I can hear it in a lot of their songs.

That seemed to be the same reaction a lot of people had, unfortunately, the largely ceremonial title has now been withdrawn. And the world just got a little bit less fun.

He played my school a few years back in what is probably indisputably the best concert I've ever been to.
