What do you miss most about BBS since he died?

Well, I was just last night thinking about how much I wanted to be told that I only know about astrophysics and nothing else, and then BBS popped in and fulfilled my desire on my wall this morning. Praise hallelujah.

You realise by posting his wall comments you are only aiding and abetting Mr. Stalin? Best way to get him to lose his wager is to just ignore. You are obviously getting to him so just stay strong and keep it up.

I miss his posts as they are among the few that aren't complete spoon fed nonsense.

He's not that bad.
He just found a worthy opponent in you ; I would take it as a compliment. You have to be careful when arguing with someone as stubborn as BBS because even if you beat him he will keep prodding until you yourself slip, be it due to emotion or just being human (we all slip up eventually, especially if your preferred method is argumentum ad logicam). Play it cool and you will most likely spank him once again. Be careful, however, as BBS, unlike a lot of other posters on here, is quite the challenging target.

I considered that. But I was quite put off by the fact that he insisted on trying to score cheap points on me by using a snarky catchphrase to describe my views instead of actually discussing them on their merits. I find it quite possible that he really is challenging me to stay intellectually honest; and I have no problem with that. As always, argumentation for me is a way of learning what other people think, and helping to reconsider my own opinions (in the specific case in question, I like having discussions with attorneys about legal issues because it's much easier than reading case law). But if that's what he's doing, he's got a funny way of showing it.
