Martin Luther King Jr. looks like the least intimidating of the group so I'll go with him.

It is Time Person of the Year. And I would want to have lunch with the 1936 winner Wallis SImpson. I would love to have lunch with her and see what she has that made a king give up his throne for her.

You left off the most important. 1982 I am pretty sure Time magazine named a "computer" man of the year.

2003 - The American soldier
Specifically DDS.
If we remove the restriction, I'd definitely go for a pasta party with Stalin, Churchill, Clinton, Gandhi and John Paul II. Those guys knew how to party (unlike that bore, Hitler)

Apparently saxi's selection is too restrictive. The people have spoken.

Why isn't Hitler an option? Having brunch with the worlds most hated dictator sounds like a lot of fun. Unless he's bringing his brown shirts

Tough choice between Franklin Roosevelt and Elizabeth II, both I'm sure would be excellent conversationalists. Stalin if I could pee in his drink while he was using the facilities.
