Firstly, what does guested mean? If it means what I think it does, I may have to wear an armband or something.

I went to live chat. He said something about asking someone for extra onions, but it was a lie because he already had onions.
My sister pronounces them "ungions," which I find odd.

Not silent. She adds the "g." My dad does this as well, but I haven't heard this anywhere else.

Soft g. The g does not sound like "gee" that would be weird. Ungeeons.

When the curlson was small, he'd add an "n" and a "g" to certain words. So, "Kitchen" was "Kitch-nung" and "Garden" was "Gard-nung".
