Any thoughts on why those who self-identify as "very liberal" seem to hold significantly more favourable opinions of congress than the average?

Because they hold imaginative assumptions about politicians?

If 'very liberal' means 'much more statist'.

Hey, but Congress still beats out the Kardashians, Lindsey Lohan, and telemarketers! Sounds like a win to me!

But damn, head lice is three times more popular? That can't be good.

Considering that tha Kardashians are still on television, Lindsey Lohan is still receiving publicity to sell newspapers, and telemarketers are still in business because they are effective, that's a good sign for Congress.
