An idea has been tossed around lately about declaring one day a year an international holiday of peace and joy in which the entire world can thank America and celebrate our continued bestness in the world.

What do you guys think? Is there enough recognition, worldwide, that America is #1?

I nominate Feb 30th.

I nominate December 25th

Don't most countries already do that on Opposite Day?

I suggest May 8th, to commemorate the day we saved the rest of the world from the Nazis.

Isn't every day the International Holidy to Express Thanks to America and Celebrate America's Greatness?

In Canada that is the case, except for "Canada Day" where we blow up fireworks and wear Uncle Sam hats and sing "Ol' Glory Raised".

This seems like a fine notion but I will need an obscure biblical citation in order to back it unreservedly.

I nominate April 20th.

I nominate July 20th because we're the greatest.
