On Tuesday March 26th, the first New York presentation of "Casey- 30 years later".

It's at the Broadway Comedy Club, 53rd St.

I'm a part of the opening act, and I'll be in the play itself, written by Bev Bonner.

Inbetween these helpings of Jonesey there will be a showing of the classic 1982 movie, "Basket Case", starring Bev Bonner.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 on the door.

And who's Casey?

Casey is the black prostitute, who appears in that and in various sequels. She was played by Bev Bonner, who wrote the play and has been doing various other comedy gigs over the last few decades.
Oh, and I think that yes, it counts as "comedy horror".

The play has been presented over the last year or so in various cities, but this is the first NYC showing - I'll put more dates up later.

I have written a new character into the play, for me to play. He is "Ernie English", most loyal customer of Casey's granny-staffed knocking shop. It was interesting, writing stuff to blend with someone else's material, so that it reflected her style. It's quite unlike the mainly-clean stuff I normally write.
