Kittens > Funky.

Currently 11 v 10 with Funky getting voted off based on aggregate.

You can't aggregate without accounting for bias.

Did you peel the crusts off my sandwiches? If not, I won't touch them.

I'll think you find bbs that this will ultimately be a painfully graphic example of how "not-markets" the forums are.

Yet another poll that's null and void.

Is there even a member here named FunkyTerrance or was that supposed to represent someone here with a slightly different spelling?

That makes no sense. Would you care to explain it?

Well, lets see what happens if I get more votes than kittens. In so many words, markets don't mean shit here.

I think you're mixing up 'polls' with 'markets'.

A market is a place where exchanges occur, e.g. the fora, or this conversation. That's the general use of the word.

To use that word more rigorously: "non-market activities" are exchanges outside of the market sector (e.g the government). For example, politicians swapping votes and making compromises, or people voting for kittens, FT, or AoG.

If this is binding it is an exchange.

See BBS, notyou understands markets. So anyone hoping that a majority vote is binding(implying a market) will be sorely disappointed. Ergo, no need to pack me a lunch("not-markets" was meant to be a joke ya doorknob).

Does the mention of economics override any sense of humor or what? Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes.

Not at all, but it helps to be funny.

Your lunch is still waiting for you.

It wasn't meant to be a knee slapper, just a little silliness. Man, everyone's a critic these days.

It has something to do with curing cancer by eating cake, or something like that. I'm fuzzy on the details.
