The other con that I hate is when people tell the kids at school "These are the best days of your life". Bollocks are they. THESE days right now are the best days of my life. And I could have said that at almost any time (except for a particularly crap four years) since I left school.

Well, I'm nearer to being communist than I am to being gay anyhow.

Seriously though, that's true (the vid) but the thing is that it's been said so many times.. the trick is in adopting that view. The great moments of schooling I remember is when I was truly engaged in learning something or hanging out with friends between classes. The ones I hate are of endless projects (mainly in university, and when it was summer and the minutes lasted hours before the bell rang so I could go get something to drink).

There's nothing wrong in trying to achieve something, what's wrong is mistaken what one wants to achieve with what others imprinted in you that you must achieve.

Funny. I can look back on a life of achievement, on challenges met, competitors bested, obstacles overcome. I’ve accomplished more than most men, and without the use of my legs. What--What makes a man, Mr. nietzsche?

"it's coming, it's coming, that great thing"

if I had a dollar every time a girl said that to me...

While I disagree with the premise that there isn't a somewhere that we're all moving toward, I do like the rest of the video. But my life's been a little different from yours, Jones - for me, Now is the best time of my life is, whether the Now was when I was 6, or 16, or now that I'm nearly 35.

True story - when I was a kid, I didn't want to grow up. I had too much fun being a kid. But as I've grown older, I've grown to see that every new day holds wonders.

I would rather make B's and have fun than A's and no social life.
I would rather be happy and go on trips and do things I love and make a little less money than if I was a workaholic....
Thats just me..
