I've never actually seen this one, but apparently it stars 12 year old Brooke Shields as a 1917 New Orleans whore
1917 was certainly a different time, but 1978 was plenty different too. Imagine someone trying to make that movie now?

One of my fav movies! I never found her attractive, but I admit that's mostly because I am a younger guy and my time period for starting to watch movies began around the late 80's. Back the the Future, Return of the Jedi/Rocky 4 and then expanded in the 90's. So really she was already saggin at the time and not holding an account in a 9 year olds spank bank.

However, when Sarandon started getting way too greedy with her property holdings and then trying to juggle all kinds of 'strike it rich whilst doing no actual work' fantasies and then taking credit for her perceived success (before the crash) all while living off someone else's money, my mojo did start to work for her and as I foreshadowed what was likely to happen I realized I was curiously aroused at the thought soon I would see her in mascara black tears on her knees begging for much more money than all the money before, desperately holding onto her beyond greedy fantasies, trying to make a bigger bet 'that will pay off' on her 4th property and allow her to keep the other 3 properties 'in play' while simultaneously realizing she wasn't a big time hot shot genius property flipper with all the right moves. And then it happened....all the build-up to that moment when she blamed other people but not herself..... I was like.....
