England was once a great nation but is only a shell of what she once was. Socialists, Communists and Democrats are all first cousins who don't believe in individual liberty. They are like the animals that mooched off the Little Red Hen.

Once upon a time, there was a little red hen who scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered some grains of wheat. She called her neighbors and said, "If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?"

"Not I," said the cow.

"Not I," said the duck.

"Not I," said the pig.

"Not I, said the goose.

"Then I will," said the little red hen. And she did. The wheat grew tall and ripened into golden grain. "Who will help me reap my wheat?" asked the little red hen.

"Not I," said the duck.

"Out of my classification," said the pig.

"I'd lose my seniority," said the cow.

"I'd lose my unemployment compensation," said the goose.

"Then I will," said the little red hen, and she did.

At last it came time to bake the bread. "Who will help me bake the bread?" asked the little red hen.

"That would be too much work," said the cow.

"I'd lose my welfare benefits" said the duck.

"I'm a public school graduate and never learned to read," said the pig.

"If I'm to be the only helper, that's discrimination," said the goose.

"Then I will," said the little red hen.

She baked five loaves and held them up for her neighbors to see.

They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share. But the little red hen
said, 'No, I can eat the five loaves by myself."

"Selfish!" cried the cow.

"Capitalist leech!" screamed the duck.

"I demand equal rights! Or, I'll Call The ACLU" yelled the goose.

We'll sue, yelled the pig, a biased judge without the proper constitutional oath will see our way. And they painted "unfair" and "selfish" on their picket signs and marched round and round the little red hen shouting obscenities.

When the cops with the government facilitator came, they said to the little red hen, "You must do consensus. Volunteer to give 50% or go to jail.

I earned that bread, this is wrong said the little red hen.

Doesn't matter, said the agent, the law is the law. In today's modern world there is no such thing as right or wrong, everything is relevant. Government must collect taxes, there is hunger out there. We're compassioned and must provide soup kitchens and welfare for the needy.

And they lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who keeps working and baking bread. Next time, the agent come for 60% of her bread. The increase was necessary said the agent, there is more hunger.

That why I just call them all "Lefties" (with exception to Tea Party Democrats and Blue Dogs/moderates, whom I have just as much respect for as anyone else who is reasonable), but of course, your post is just about the words someone chose to use, and has nothing to do with Socialism and Communism and Democrats themselves, or the substance of the video.

On topic, I'm so sick of the income gap myth, and Thatchy communicated the truth so clearly that the guy who questioned her had to preface his bullshit by saying "nobody can argue that your policies didn't provide awesome results....but...."

England is still a great nation, don't sell yourself short. The Red Hen, Socialist, Communist and Democrat analogy combo is crap in relation to "individual liberty" because it is just not that simple.

England, where I was born,is a constituent part of the United Kingdom,of which Thatcher was PM.Her government was no further to the right than the current Democrat administration. So following premio's logic (or lack of),Thatcher was a first cousin of Socialists and Communists...

Before Margaret Thatcher, semi-automatic long guns were legal for individual ownership in Britain. She banned them.

Exactly,MT was not what a lot of US commentators imagine. She may have cosied up to Reagan but they were miles apart on the political spectrum.Even if she had wanted to go further right, which is likely, she would have encountered an overwhelming storm of opposition from inside and outside her own party. The UK is not the US.

Thatcher expanded what the opposition calls"socialized medicine" and increased the amount pensioners "social security" receive. Reagan passed the largest middle class tax increase to fund social security. Obama passes a health care law based on a conservative idea from the heritage foundation an idea republicans supported until Obama supported it. Who is the so called socialist again? :o

England had been on a socialist agenda many years before Thatcher got there. She merely tried to stem the slide into what is now a hellhole. There is not a politician in this world anyone would agree with 100% but the danger now even in the United States is full blown socialism with the government telling us what we can and cannot eat, at what temperature we must set our thermostats, and with Obomacare, government agents deciding who is worthy to receive healthcare with their own death panels. My political perspective would be more along the lines with Ron Paul but I certainly don't agree with everything he believes either.

The Democratic party is the greatest threat to individual liberty in the United States today.

I just went for a walk , children were feeding the ducks and geese in the pond on the common , families were walking their dogs in the woods , the pub gardens were full of people enjoying a pint in the sunshine.....this is your definition of a hellhole :o
If you are actually interested in educating yourself , as opposed to perpetrating myths that confirm your bias , then mark the words of one who actually experienced the events personally and indeed voted for Mrs Thatcher in two General Elections.
Thatcher was a strong leader but very much a politician of her time, her policies addressed certain problems but she was too much of a popularist in retrospect , long term social consequencies were ignored or ill considered.
Politics has always been circular , Thatcher was popular in England because the pendulum had swung too far to the left , Obama was elected because Bush took the USA too far to the right.
When Thatcher went the Labour governments that followed were pretty much centre of the road , just as the Obama administration is today in the USA . To conclude that either was or is very left wing simply demonstrates extreme political bias rather than sober analytical judgement.

Were you dressed as a man or a woman? What seems "normal" to you is where we are at today. I can fully understand why you despise those with traditional moral values. You would fit right in with the "centre" of the Democratic Party and President Obama.

The Ten Commandments. Dressing and acting like a man. Believing that killing unborn children is immoral. Not believing I have a right to take from someone else because they have more than I do (stealing). We have no business sending in women to fight our wars for us. Marriage is between a man and a woman.

In short_ everything you oppose.

So because the ducks are still being fed by children, and families go outside of their home for a walk....that is the hallmark of how you can tell if we are hellhole or not? I wonder if your same standard applies in Ecuador, where Exxon raped and pillaged the earth and polluted the land and abused the people so tragically and flooded woodland area with oil waste. "Well, children are feeding ducks, and families are taking walks, so everything is okay!"

It's hilarious that Premio supposes that Maggie would have supported his ' moral values ' . She was very much a traditionalist but also a pragmatist who had little time for those who lived in the past , she considered them to be Dinosaurs and their views to be worthless.

Its quite simple , Britain has its problems but to describe it as a hellhole is ridiculous. If you want to defend that description its fine by me , every social indicator ever published would mock your position :D

Your example shows the unacceptable face of capitalism , something that Mrs Thatcher was often accused of , seems your 3 month vacation did little to clear your head ;)

The usual bullying.... You should know by now that I am not afraid of being mocked, your threats mean nothing to me. It actually allows me to speak what I believe, rather than just what everyone else believes.

That being said, I don't know much about Britain, I've never been there. Some things I have heard about though is the crime is through the roof, specifically in the realm of burglary, sexual assault and rape, and battery. I also hear, certainly in London that Sharia Law is being taught in the schools, so there's also that to look forward to. I wonder who will win the battle when it's Sharia Law vs. Gay Marriage. I wonder how that ends up.

What I'm getting at is while Britain is a hellhole or not, or anywhere is a hellhole or not, a hellhole needs to be prevented. To walk around saying "we are not a hellhole now" is not any evidence that you won't be in the near future.

And one thing I know for sure is that Thatchy-Poo's opponents always gave her credit for doing a good job, so she must have done something right.
