GIF Pronunciation

Some old fart says it's "jif," but so what? No one owns the language, so it's going to pronounced however.
(By the way, "gif" is pronounced with a hard G. "G" as in "gift").

that being said, the CREATOR OF THE GIF has vindicated my years-long insistence that it is pronounced "jif" like the peanut butter brand, so the rest of you can SUCK IT
