Attorney General Eric Holder signed off on a controversial search warrant that identified Fox News reporter James Rosen as a “possible co-conspirator” in violations of the Espionage Act and authorized seizure of his private emails, a law enforcement official told NBC News on Thursday.
The disclosure of the attorney general’s role came as President Barack Obama, in a major speech on his counterterrorism policy, said Holder had agreed to review Justice Department guidelines governing investigations that involve journalists.
Well, at least we already know what Holder will decide, which will save time.

So the wolf is going for the fox, and the sheep are people who the fox was going after?
Wait, the wolf is guarding sheeple against foxes?
No, wait, maybe I got it this time. A fox in wolverine's clothing is guarding sheep?
That's not it at all. Eric Holder is a werewolf and every full moon he turns into a wolf? The American public likewise manifest weresheep powers? Defended only by the werefox?
Holding a wolf is better than outfoxing the sheep?
That seems a bit cryptic. The fox is the boy who cried wolf, but to his sheep?
That doesn't seem like what you were going for. The wolf's attorney is generally fleecing the sheep, so they need a fox?
This is a very confusing metaphor.

And that's why you should use multiple email addresses---if you're in the relevant kind of work, of course.
Sym, lemme know when you've cracked the puzzle of the Half Wolf-Sheep, Half Man.

There's some kind of Greek dog involved now. And what appears to be a monkey. That's messed up all of my theories.

That makes me sad.
Sort of like a llama impregnating a naked mole rat with 2 squid guarding.

That's a simile. I'm ok with those. Have a simile in return:

I can't say I'm surprised (I would have guessed this had been going on for many years, and as a blanket policy of all reporters without a search warrant, to be honest), but I am saddened to see it made clear. I guess I can fall back on "at least there was a search warrant" (because again, I wouldn't have expected it), but I don't like that much either.
While I'm glad Jon has finally seen the light, it doesn't absolve him from having given Obama a free pass for the last five years. Still, it's a start.
Incidentally, your link wouldn't load for me. Whether it's because I'm outside the U.S. or because I refuse to upgrade to the next generation of Adobe Flash, I'm not sure, but I found a link to what (I presume) is the same clip on youtube.

I suppose if you want to ignore that he hasn't been giving Obama a free pass...
