Oklahoma

I have maintained for years that Oklahoma is the most God-forsaken land of them all. I was there on a Sunday and there was no beer stores open and people were lined up around the block to get into this "church" where they preached lies about Christ. All of a Oklahoma is bullshit. It's just going to keep getting tornadoes. They will continue to get bigger until you listen to me. Creationism is a form of hatred. Stop your anti-Christian ways and hear the message of the LORD.

The Anti-American sentiment in many places around the world is really just anti-Oklahoma sentiment. The nexus of crass consumerist culture (if the Rapture is coming, why bother saving the planet?), poor foreign policy (name one GOOD foreign policy decision Oklahoma has made) and big corporate government (Oklahomans were directly responsible for the debt crisis).

People like Pat Robertson is why Oklahoma is in this mess. They call themselves "Christians" when really ever word they utter takes a dump directly on Christ's teachings.

I don't like false organized religion. The reasoning behind Southern Baptism is that if they pretend to be Christians, and then terrorize the world, the world will retribute against real Christians.

It would be more accurate to say I don't like Satan's double agents collecting money from otherwise decent people in the name of Christ.

I've only been to Oklahoma once and I remember it was as unremarkable as DY described it, however, if it weren't for Oklahoma*, Hugh Jackman would still be stuck doing Australian sitcoms.

* or a pair of Jewish composers from Manhattan who couldn't find a word to rhyme with "Nebraska"

IIRC Oklahoma was a co-belligerent in the War of the Austrian Succession, taking the side of its historic ally, Sardinia. At the time, Jeb Cottonwheel - the King of Oklahoma - had been promised the Grand Duchy of Brunswick if Sardinia emerged victorious.

Maybe I'm thinking of somewhere else. But I'm pretty sure it was Oklahoma.

Serve beer and wine on Sundays. Outlaw "Prosperity Gospel". Two simple steps will save the soul of the entire nation. If you really want, skip the first step. I don't care as I will never go to OK again, unless its to watch the Sooners get sucked into a portal to Hell.
