You're going to start off the date by sharing an exciting activity. What's it going to be?

Picnic followed by fancy Italian restaurant

The waiter trips and spills wine all over you. How do you handle the situation?
"It happens, but you're not getting a tip."

Your date drops the bomb: "I have two kids". How do you react?
"That's cool, how old are they/what are they called? etc"

Assuming I'm not married and assuming that by "first date" we mean there will be dates in the future (and this will not be a one night stand), I copied Nietzsche. If one night stand, I might choose a different age range.

I wouldn't actually tell the waiter/waitress they're not getting a tip, I just wouldn't give it to them.
