I went to the shore. I got on a tour boat. I got off the boat. I rode a bike for an hour. I got back on the boat. I went to a brew house that just opened that day (fancy that, their first day open is Canada Day) but there was a 45 minute wait. So I went past the ballpark (because I wanted to know where the will call was for the game I'm going to see next Sunday) and then spent the rest of the day at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
(If you don't know, I'm visiting Toronto for the Barbershop Harmony Society's 75th International Convention. Lots and lots of singing.)

Why would there be a 45 minute wait at a brew house?
I can only assume its because they were serving food. Dont they know eating is cheating?

Have some cake!

(No, I had nothing to do with this cake other than coming across the picture.)

You can't run a brew house here without food service.
Where did you get the bike tzor. I hope you took a picture.

The cake looks to be the symbol of the Canadian Air Force. Perhaps this was done at a US base where Canadians were training on Canada Day and was a joke.

Of the Bike? Honestly it was a crappy bike, but it suited my purpose. It was at Island Bicycle Rental right next to the large pier on Toronto Island. $8 for one hour. Backpedal brakes.
And one other thing, not normally worth mentioning but since the universe constantly conspires to fascinate me, I also passed by the site (now a part of the airport) where Babe Ruth played his only season in the minor leagues.
But I have pictures ... just not of the clothing optional beach.

As I understand it, it was done as a joke between friends, yes. A pretty good one, in my opinion. I wish I were that creative.

I was at an epic party with people from all kinds of foreign countries like Germany, Ireland, France, Manitoba. Then we all went to the world's longest freshwater beach and I almost got burnt by the damned Star that is too close for comfort.

They really need to do something about that. It's causing all this cancer. It's taking away jobs from lightbulb and electricity producers. It causes blindness.
It's good for nothing, and it really needs to be stopped.

We should probably band together, and form some sort of 501c4 (TGD gets to be in charge of all taxey waxey mumbo jumbo). Our logo can perhaps be inspired by:

And, if I remember correctly ( the only sporting fact I know) where he hit his first professional home run.

It could be worse. We had to install a magnetic deflection system to deflect the bulk of all the nasty things that comes out of that great ball of fusion fire.
(In fact we are one of the few inner planets with such a system.)

So anyway, I finally got to the brewpub; Amsterdam Brewhouse. Naturally I had to have a flight. And I also had one of the most beautiful Scotch Eggs I have had this century!
So anyway, if you are ever in Toronto, 245 Queens Quay West, right beside that strange building dedicated to dogs. I highly recommend going there!

I spent Canada Day in Toronto a few years ago, and went to the same Island and hired a bike too.

I celebrated Canada Day by walking around in the forest and growing a beard.
