No this isn't a parody of an existing thread, although seeing the thread did make we want to ask you all in general. I've got an old Shell Oil uniform my father wore in the 60's and a nice old Shell Flag. I'm thinking of throwing the flag up the flagpole and dressing my dummy in the shell uniform this Halloween. I'd love to have a prop of one of those old fashioned gas pumps (ideally Shell in keeping with the theme) to put on the porch next to the "old man" and his flag on the flagpole. But my Google Fu can't really get me to find a good store for things like this, or if I can they are rental only and not what I am looking for. Anyone know of a good site for props like these?

You could always try contacting their head office, or even a regional one.

I know before they left the retail sector in New Zealand their nearby office had a couple of really old school pumps on display.

Did it have those yellow pieces which are like 12 along (12x1x1)? They had a "Shell" sticker on the side.

Man, those were so useful for, liek, everything I ever built.

That might be a good option. Currently the only ones I am seeing are real replicas and that's above my price range.

Original antique gas pumps are collector items by car collectors and are quite valuable. There are replicas made and sold but I think even those are quite expensive.
