This was a total PC shooting, and goes to show how PC is starting to get out of hand. This guy should have been dishonorably discharged from the service (which would have popped up on the background check) but, because he is a minority, he got a pass.

Also, the double standard here. If this guy were a Tea Party patriot, the story would have a totally different narrative. Since he is keeping with the long standing trend of center to Leftist as shooters (he was a huge Obama supporter) we don't hear anything about motivation or racism (yet), and it's all about mental health and how the murderer is a victim because he could not get the help he needed because of the sequester, ya see.

And the blatant lie that didn't even need correcting. At the time of the shooting, the usual suspects of the biased media reported over and over again that the shooter used an AR-15, when really the murderer just took Joe Biden's advice to "just buy a shotgun"

btw, I now have the evidence that Universities are officially dominated by the left, and the finding in this study are staggering, and confirm everything I have said in the past. And the best part...the guy who did the extensive study is a Progressive Liberal who just wanted to present the facts (there are some things Conservatives will not like also in the study, but they are things I don't think anyone has brought up on the subject yet). There is also direct evidence the college does in fact make students Liberal/more Liberal.

I dont think anyone (was it in the education in USA thread? Not sure) denied that liberals have a higher representation in academic teaching.

What seems a little more hard to conclude on is: Does it matter?

Sure in a handful of extreme examples this does matter as there are idiot professors who let their politics influence their teaching, but unless I am mistaken there seems to be little in the way of evidence of widespread manipulation and indoctrination (and if there was I would be the first to support your cause PS).

I wonder often....how is it that for 2 centuries in America, children brought their guns to school, and nobody can think of a time where a kid went nuts and shot everyone or the teacher or anything?

Let's see .... the worst school massacre before Sandy Hook was way back - i forget where I read it - and it wasn't from guns it was from a bomb! So we should ban bombs, right??
