... is spending money to make videos.

"What are those videos about"?, you might ask. Bears? Trees? Bees? Rivers & mountains?

... No to all of the above.

Check it out:

Aside from the very strangeness of this, this survived the sequester. I think that says a lot.

Remember when Obama made NASA's priority "Muslim outreach"? Just like any ordinary Christian would....

Who else does he have brown nosing? Is Mosquito Control gonna release a video about the history of Islam??

Anyway, what are all your FAV U.S. national parks? These are the ones I've been to after looking at this list (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_a ... onal_parks), insofar as I can recall:

    - Yellowstone N.P.
    - Joshua Tree N.P.
    - Death Valley N.P.
    - Olympic N.P.
    - Mount Rainier N.P.
    - Craters of the Moon N.P.
    - Crater Lake N.P.
    - Shasta Lake National Recreation Area
    - Minuteman National Historical Park
    - Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park
    - Little Bighorn National Battlefield
    - National Mall

Death Valley is always #1 for me because I like the desert and dry air. I've never been to the Grand Canyon, that's on my bucket list. I've never been to NP's east of the Mississippi except the Mall and Minuteman NHP, which don't really count, since they're not natural environments. I'm curious about the geography. I bet it's not as good.

If that's true, that makes me happy. Seems an odd thing to associate with national parks, but what the hell?

so, the government can promote a certain religion, as long as someone else pays for it and not the government?

Saxi, my favorite national park is The Great Smokey Mountains. I spent a week there once, hiking 50 miles worth of trails. It nearly killed me, but it was great fun!

I've also been to the Grand Canyon, Hot Springs, and Mt. Rainier. I regret that I haven't visited more. Back when I lived in the States, we'd go on different road trips around the Southeast, and Congaree and the Everglades were on my list, but I never got around to them.

Glacier
Yellowstone
Mount Rushmore (Crazy Horse dwarfs it, no wonder the gov won't fund it.)
Haleakala

I'm not certain if Lewis and Clark Forrest counts. Been there, tent camped once with a toddler thought we were going to freeze, at least the wife saved some money buying those sleeping bags instead of real ones.
