I love cricket..

Both teams far superior in the field than batting should produce results.Despite England's losing 6 wickets for 9 runs, our top 6 is better than Australia's which is pathetic,so I'm still tipping England to win the series for a record 4 times consecutively.
Looks like Australia for the 1st test :(

i thought the Aussies would win the series, maybe, fingers crossed. But the Poms have collapsed far more than i thought was possible. i'm still expecting a close series though.

I don't like cricket, oh NO I LOVE IT........ blah blah

Two shit teams, in the aussie case stuffed with has beens or never weres. England is just a sub contient and african b team.

The bowlers need to start bowling on target head hunters, and the batsmen need to forget to duck. Maybe would knock some sense into them. Worst thing is for once can't really blame the selectors. As the poor bastards are left with the south park choice. A douche or a turd.

1 England 3 Australia

Only because England are at least as capable of choking as Australia. Home field advantage might just tip the balance between two teams dedicated to mediocrity.

England can come back. The question is of course - Will England come back?

They can choke as hard as Greg Norman in a masters.

adelaide is a nailed on england win. on this evidence, perth is the same for the ozzies. i suspect the pitches for the last 2 tests are going to be fast and bouncy, could be looking at a 4-1..!

that clarke sledging thing was retarded.

Sledging s fine in my book, but sledging a number 11 in a sure victory is purely pointless and nothing but a douche move. Glad he got fined.

They aren't used to losing and they've had a lousy year by their standards, seems like a lot of pent up feelings were released. But I agree a line was crossed with Anderson..

that sort of thing happens in the game all the time. the only issue is that it was picked up on mic this time.

anderson is england's best bowler by a mile, it's no wonder they were laying it on. he won't have taken a blind bit of notice, it's not like he's never faced a short ball before, is it?

I have no problem with the sledging itself. Its just it should be used to try and get under their skin and attempt to press a psychological advantage. However the circumstances around clarke sledging anderson had nothing to do with this, and everything to do with being a plain old douche.

Australia has always been sensitive about cricket. You can't remove sledging Brits anymore than you can remove being racist about Aboriginal people from their personalities.
