No. Violates the "half your age plus seven" rule.

Some of us use the "zero plus eighteen" rule.

Yes, but those of us who live in civilized parts of the country do it differently.

Where would one find a list of these alleged rules?

If there is grass on the field- shaved very short and pruned beautifully- then play ball.

If it's legal then obviously it is okay. If it wasn't okay then it would be illegal.

When I'm 125, I want 2 18 year olds. Therefore, it's ok.

You forgot the "0", so I added it for you.

Living up to 500 years is not as ideal as it sounds. :|

Also there is the impact on society that this extreme procrastination of death would have, retirement ages would skyrocket, the population would bloat. Think Torchwood: Miracle Day, but stretched over a few decades.

Things would self regulate. Also, there would be mortals and gods living together. Rich people would be able to have god-children. Also, just by investing 1000$ in their kid s saving account, by the interests will be huge by the time they become "teens" lol

I wonder if gods would have to behead each other to be the last man standing...

Living for 500 years is awesome. It just depends on what you could do with that time.

If you're worried about loved ones dying and you living, then you can still have friends at the 500 Years Association.

Or you can build an android friend, like in Star Trek. But if you try to fall in love with it, it might rebuke you, once it discovers it is an android, and you have been hiding that fact from it.

Death anxiety would be worse. If now, say you are 50 and you get cancer, you say, "well, wth, i had only like 20 years more anyway", imagine the anxiety over dying on a car accident at 80.

People would chose to have calmer, relaxed lives as well, as there's too much time left anyway. But all is relative, 70 years could mean too much or to little according how you look at it. Philosopher Bertrand Russell said he was very anxious as a kid because all the time he had left to live, what would he do with it?

If betiko's scenario would be still possible, I'd work my ass off the first 100 years and then live the rest having sex with 20 year old poor girls.

I work in a hospital, so I see the ravages of aging everyday. An anti-aging treatment would be great, but that article sounds more like life prolonging to me, living longer just to age more...... No thanks!

i remember there being a guy who invested a ton of money in a 500 year plan but the bank wouldn't let anyone cash it out.

You guys might wanna rethink this living 500 years business. New tests have shown that Viagra is ineffective to anyone over 100 years old.

I thought that was the flawed life plan you were working on right now!
