miley sirus IS anoying. first, she thinks she's hot, or she is pretending to look hot. second, she tries to be so "radical" with her hairstyle and poor little midgets pretending to be her musicians. she sells music for kids and is now making the apology of drugs in her songs and apearances... she s in the middle of her teenage crisis, i get it, but when will it end? and do we really have to witness all these embarassing things? one day she ll look back with a bit more maturity and she'll say look at what disney did to me after i got out of that shit...
one direction.. what the f*ck is that? seriously, sometimes you wonder how that industry can get a hard core fanbase so fast.
tokyo hotel.. was this german band super popular everywhere a few years ago among teens or just in europe?

betiko wrote:well the thing with bieber is that the only times i hear something about him it's people posting hatred stuff about him. but what has he done? people hate the fact that he got rich and famous with no talent while they can't pay their rent. I'd just say good for him, but all those hatred stuff generated around him for 2-3 years (i don't really realize how long he's been famous) are just generating buzz around him, and i'm pretty sure contributing to increase his revenues.
why don't we just smack down people who listen to that kind of music, like any good fachist or communist or integrist state would do?

Truth be told, I have an unreasonable hatred for most modern pop "music". Go back to the 80s and prior, I don't mind it as much, but modern day? Like getting poked in the eye, not exactly pleasant.

Music requires creativity.
Note I am not anti-pop per se; there is some quality within the genre. I like Gagas creativity, and I would like Miley if she didnt aim he music at children (as it is she disgusts me as she has a huge amount of power/influence and is ignoring the impact she undoubtedly has - her recent stuff is like handing out copies of GTA V to primary school kids).

I would agree. I don t listen to pop, but there are some stuff and some careers i can respect. People that are actually artists, not products that you throw like toilet paper and replace by another roll.
betiko wrote:Well no it doesn t work for me. Cyrus is over acting the cool drug & whore to try to completely change her image and she tries so hard that it s sad. Bieber didn t show up with a split personality from one day to the next. Anyways, none of these kids deserve the hatred they get, they are just small pieces on the chessboards obeying to the music industry. The parents who don t give their kids a proper music education are the ones to blame.
