I went to see Anchorman 2 last night. [Spoilers]

It was f***ing awful.
First off, Brick was just annoying at times, too much pointless yelling and screaming throughout the film. Also, the whole thing with him and his girlfriend was just cringe-worthy. Huge mistake, I didn't enjoy that at all. The film was actually decent enough up until Ron went blind. Then it just got a bit too stupid, and to be honest I genuinely felt like walking out. I could barely bring myself to watch the huge fight scene between the news teams.
I seriously loved Anchorman, but this was just awful. Really, really, really sad. What the f*** guys?

I never expected much from it. THe first one was stupid funny and not very good. The second just looked stupid. For the record, The Wolf of Wallstreet wasn't all that much better. It would have been if it had been an hour and a half to two hour movie. In fact it was great for most of that but it was the movie that would never end and when it finally did it ended pretty much exactly like you would have expected it to end.

I wasn't expecting miracles, I just didn't want to see them try too hard to be funny and end up just looking stupid... which unfortunately is clearly what happened. Painful.

Welcome to Old.
Most of the time when I go see an updated version of something I was looking forward to. I'm asking, "Why did they do that to the remake of....? How could they take a nice funny family movie then ruin it by adding stupid bathroom humour, sex and fight scenes? I was going to take my kids to it."
Which reminds me I got Batman and Dark knight rising from Target last night. Am I going to regret that? Batman is supposed to be a good guy. I loved Batdad on YouTube. "Jen! Did you wash my pyjamas?"

Yes. You are going to regret that.
And Batdad is cool.

Oh oh. We got Ted as well. Probably going to hate that one too so we grabbed Office Space to make everything better.
"Damn it feels good to be a gangster." "They said I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume."

This movie had a few moments early on, but was loud, obnoxious, vulgar and went nowhere. People actually walked out of the cinema about halfway through it and I probably should have too. A piece of crap you don't need to pay good money to see in a theater. If you've seen the trailers, that's about all you need.
Thanks for the heads up Joshy, it's appreciated.
American Hustle is good.

I thought it was hilarious. Maybe not quite as ground-breaking as the first, but there were a lot of brilliant moments.

There were hilarious moments. But overall, it sucked. Horrifically.
But then again, you Americans do have a very different sense of humour to us Brits.

I watched the trailer and it looked funny.. Although i have to say that i generally think that ferrell tries too hard and looks genuinely stupid. The first anchorman was actually the only ferrel movie i liked. I don t know if i should see this.. Guess an internet rip off will do. Might as well only waste my time and save money for a better movie.

Ted was not very good but it was not very bad either. There were a couple of bits that were great.
When the narrator talked about the Apache helicopters.
