So here's the thing.

François meets Segolène in his super bureaucrat university.



They never get married, but together they have 4 kids



In the 80s, Segolène is the president's councelor and a few times minister during the socialist Mitterand's presidency, and François is first secretary of the socialist party.
In 2007, Segolène wins the socialist primaries, and gets to run against Sarkozy for the presidential election. Sarkozy had been a very successfull minister during Chirac's presidency and it was almost sure he would win.



Sarkozy wins, and the rumour grows stronger during the campaign regarding Segolène and françois not being together anymore. In 2012, François wins the socialist primaries for the presidential elections and gets to face Sarkozy, looking for a reelection. Sarkozy had had lots of controvers during his presidency, and basically anyone could ve won. So François won.




François not being with Segolène anymore, presented the new first lady. A journalist still carrying her ex husband's name and still not fully divorced. Of course, she isn't married with François.



Funny thing is that François didn't put Segolène anywhere in his government. So he tried to "parachute" her last minute to become head of a region. But the socialist guy that had been elected there for over 20 years didn't want to resign and let Segolène take his place... And the people from that Region didn't want Segolène there as she knew f*ck all... So Valerie sent a message of support to the region governor against Segolène. This became extremely funny... as basically the president's girfriend and his ex wife were fighting over twitter.



And las t friday.... a bomb!!!! A french tabloid found out that François is fucking with a french actress, basically he takes his scooter at lunchtime and goes for a shag. Valerie is suffering from a huge depression ever since and is in a hospital.



How can François get pussy with that face?



Julie Gayet is pretty hot (although not super famous!... until now)



Anyway, today at 4 François had a big meeting with journalists and all the foreign press came along. French journalists are expecting foreign journalists to shoot first, cause obviously that's what everybody wants to know... who is the french first lady? Is valerie still going to come with him for every official trip to visit foreign leaders ect??? Or is it now Julie?

I m really pissed about the Dominique Strauss Kahn scandal in New York in 2011 (you know, raping the hotel maid thing...) the guy was a great economist and very charismatic.. Plus DSK would have governed with almost same people, so politic probably wouldn't be so different. And DSK would have taken the country in the same state that Francois Hollande did. You can't ask Hollande or anyone else to transform a country in such a bad state - speaking of 2012 - and hope that in January 2014, not even 2 years after he won the election, everything is perfect.

We can make assumption right now, but we'll really be able to judge what Hollande and his government did in 2017 only.


And concerning the topic, who the president is fucking has nothing to do with politic, I don't give a shit and you shouldn't either.

First of all, Hollande is not a married man, and trierwieller DOES have a political role. She is his official biatch, and she goes with him everywhere to meet world leaders and to official ceremonies. She has an office in the Elysee palace and sometimes has a role in current affairs. She has not been elected. She is the first lady. It IS my business to know if she still is the first lady given that she's in a hospital for depression following this tabloid story. This is a bit more complex than Chirac's or Mitterand's fucks about. Had Triewieler showed up with a big smile as if nothing happened, well end of the story, but the whole country knows she is depressend and in the hospital, so yeah, there is definitely a big deal about this.

Hollande is a turd. You have to be blind not to see that the country is going to shit since his election. During Sarkozy's presidency, the economical indexes were above average compared to other western countries. We are the ones doing the worse within the european big 5 countries since he's here. He is a clear incompetent, he isn't doing anything with his government. What measures has he done that make sense? tax 75% people earning over a million? yeah, that isn't populist at all... on a national scale that means shit all. Not to mention that it's absolutely unfair.

So DSK being someone far more intelligent, far more experienced, far more charismatic and being one of the greatest minds in global economy wouldn't ve done better than your turd? And the "political" role of V.Trierwieller is so minimal. He'll take someone else or nobody to visit other countries. This is of such a minor importance.
Sarkozy also changed his 1st lady while he was president, it wasn't such a big deal.
I understand people want to know, but this is still a very minor point.

As for what is doing Hollande or how much better would have been DSK this is pointless speculation.
You've to be blind not to understand that any measure that this government has been taking need time to have effect on the economy, and we've been rather suffering previous measure from Sarkozy.

He was at 24% of favorable opinions in december, and has now acheived the great score of 26%. He is extremely popular, what I'm saying is bullshit, listen to Don who's living in germany! lol

Well each time I live abroad, no matter the newspapers or the internet pages i read, I don t have the glimpse of the everyday life frenchman you over hear on the next table, while you walk down the street, when you buy your bread, conversing with acquantances of every political views ect. You kind of live in a bubble concerning national politics when you live abroad, I m saying this because it happened to me many times.

I don t see why insulting a politician means what you are saying makes no sense at all.
Sarkozy knew way before the final second ballot that it was lost. He just had a newborn, was quite unpopular and just thought f*ck it... I ll leave the village idiot on the hot seat for 5 years and people will be begging for me to come back, and that s what will happen basically.

I vote center on the first ballot, but after it s alway left vs right (except 2002 lol). Anyway, on the sevond ballot i vote for the best suited person. In 2007, it was clearly Sarkozy as Royale was a terrible candidate, probably the worse ever. I wasn t too happy about Sarkozy, even if I thought he did quite OK (even if he is a douche). I was really looking forward for a DSK vs Sarko in 2012 to vote DSK, but instead we got that insignificant man taking his place, with his insignificant prime minister.

Sarkozy got dumped by his wife during the 2007 elections or slightly before but it wasn t official. She still sticked to him during the entire election, even made it to the Elysée (our white house). A couple of month later, she was shown in the press with her new lover and it became official. A month later, Sarkozy presented Carla Bruni to the press in eurodisney. That was an awkward moment! It looked really like something staged, but at the end of the day they are still together and it seems to be a real couple, they have a 2 year old daughter (that was another strage thing... The president that became father while being in office!)

Hollande wasn t married to this Valerie, but she was still there in every official ceremony, and presented as the first lady. Regarding the actress he is shagging/dating... No idea if she is his "official" or if officially he is single. The split up news with Valerie is from today. Hollande has a trip organized to visit Obama shortly and people were wondering if he would go alone, with Valerie or with Julie...

Nah, this didn t influence at all in any of those cases. It s more funny gossip rather than anything.
I highly doubt Hollande will get reelected, he is extremely unpopular right now. Sarkozy will present himself again in 2017 and will most likely win.. Because he retired from politics, he is letting Hollande sink, while being a newborn father and doing tons of money as a consultant. Everybody knows it s a strategy.
