I like it.

Also, quick, someone create a 'Stars and Bars' exchange that is either about exchanging the first confederate flag, or about celebrity photos taken in drinking establishments.

I don't think people really went on the link, but it's actually pretty awesome. this is a private project to send 22 people on mars in 2023, they will stay there forever and it'ssupposed to become a "big brother" like television show. funniest thing is that you don't need to pay them and they can't go on strike.

Are you declining my one way tiket to mars? You ll have internet there but you ll lag in speed games.
Also days are not 24h long and it will be a fucking pain in the ass to keep up track of your active games.

It's interesting, but it hasn't happened yet, so whatever.

Not sure why anyone would go. It's like committing suicide.

uh ... NO

The craziest thing in human history was the October 12, 1971 episode of the Sonny and Cher show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mFZGPTZwZs

You are committing suicide by living on earth too. I would never do it, but this is like the ultimate big brother show that would be followed by the entire humanity and that would stay forever in the books of history, at least at the level of neil armstrong... And it s a private initiative!

@ saxi: were you born in the 50s?? Why isn t there a band called Sonny & Ike? No one knows what happens to the husbands!

Given that it would take 3 years or so to reach mars.. My bet would be on the morning before taking the spaceship... And saying goodbye forever to everyone!
I have doubts that humans could accept such endeavor...

I heard that they are charging 30$ for an application and that they received thousands already...
