THere's a circus close to here, kids came telling my sister that they were selling the lion they had for 3000pesos, that's less than 300 dls. My sister went to ask and they confirmed it. It-s so sad really, more than global warming and all that shit, activists should focus their energy on making sure stuff like that didn't happen. f*ck the circus, f*ck the zoos. Free the lions!

You're obviously ignorant of economics! There are transactional costs involved: the cost of finding the right place in Africa where a capturable lion is currently located, bribing local officials to let you trap the lion, bribing the lion to get in your trap, bribing the local villagers not to kill you in your sleep and sell the lion to someone else. There are very real costs of transportation and there are deadweight losses due to equipment that you will have to buy, and won't use long enough to get your money's worth. There is the actuarial cost that you have to consider: even if you have only a 1-in-1000 chance of being killed during this adventure, how much is 1/1000 of your life worth? Finally, there is opportunity cost. While you're busy wandering around in Africa, you could be selling your sister for a good price. How much is your safari costing you now?
