Democratically removing someone from office would be impeaching the president. Using force and/or paying people to bomb others (e.g. the No-Fly Zone) isn't democratic. It's "war in action." ....

since votes are rarely taken prior to actions.

Also there's the problem of misinformation used
to support a military option of force.

Example: the Bush Administration leaks false intelligence info
to the British and doesn't reveal they "made it up" when the
Brits inform them what they know and instead uses that
same info to validate the invasion of an evil dictator.

democracy means that the people rule. The closest we come today is maybee switzerland with their canton folk votes. in no country today does the people rule, they vote thats not the same thing! If i remeber correctly the irokese nation had a rule that were close to democracy...but just as the greeks of old it were for men.

so i would say democracy today is a word thats used to fool people into thinking they are free. which we aint...
so whats worst a "lying" democracy or an truth telling fascist state that clearly states u are oppressed we dont give a f##k:)? in my opinion they are both really bad! BUT i dont think true democracy will ever work in a large scale...so we are stucked with the second best, and all get the politicians we deserve:)
