This thread is not really working out. Maybe posting the wrong video to start did not help but...

No. It was supposed to be a Sergio thread.

Probably the worst marketing mistake since New Coke.

Hint: If you like a very little-known member of a very large group, you might want to emphasize the person's unique aspects in your advertising, rather than the very large group that he's a member of.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I like Sergio. Used to look at his margin doodles all the time. But as a Mexican? He's not exactly a household name. Compared to Mexicans who actually are household names, like Pancho Villa or Emiliano Zapata, he's just not not carrying front-page headlines, you know?

Actually, it never occurred to me to ask what Sergio's ethnicity was, but if anybody had asked me I would have said "Neapolitan" because I only knew two people in R/L that were named Sergio, and both of them were from Naples. Or more likely, I would have just assumed he was a second-generation American from somewhere in Brooklyn. Either way, his ethnicity was never an issue, and until now it has never occurred to me to even wonder about it.

I think so.

I have loved those margin doodles so much, they have given me plenty of joy.

Always had a man crush on film actor Gilbert Roland. Here in one of favorite films, "Three Violent People" with Charleton Heston. Plays a very honorable and classy character in the film.
