I'm not quite sure how it happened, but tonight I was a guest of the Indonesian ambassador at a piano recital by Jaya Suprana, at Carnegie Hall.

Jonesy, if you would've told us earlier, I would have given you some sly phrases to pepper into your conversation to impress -- I've picked up odd bits from a friend of mine. You could have told him to please have a seat. Or ask if he wanted a fruit slice. Or tell him that you are like a bomb exploding.
