A Tribute to Dukasaur

Having been banned for criticising Dukasaur, I thought I would instead create a post praising him.
First, I'd like to apologise to the T-Rex. He has a difficult job correctly identifying who is and isn't racist, and it was perfectly correct for him to censor any suggestion that I was not actually an anti-semite.
Indeed, I now consider his behaviour in having my criticism of him deleted and having me banned to be an act of the highest bravery, and not the "craven cowardice" I accused him of. I accept King Achilles judgement that I was too much of a man compared to him, and will endeavour to emulate his more girlish demeanour. That Y chromosome just got the better of me.
He was perfectly correct to cite notorious trolls in his evidence against me, and I was wrong to suggest that he find sources who have not been banned for calling for my death.
His many apologies should have been sufficient, even when they repeated the accusations and emphasised his hatred of me. At the time I considered them half-arsed, but that was clearly wrong.
So I will create a new poll in praise of his many virtues.
Sym

This thread does not disappoint; in fact, it has exceeded my expectations.
Bollocks.

References to Dukasaur as a penis will not be tolerated within this thread. Please treat him with all the respect he deserves. Referring to testicles is deeply inappropriate on this topic regarding Dukasaur. Show some respect and dignity.
Good day, sir.

I've only seen a little of him since I have come back around to the site.
And from what I have seen I was not pleased with. "Arrogant Phallus" was all i could see... Not a fan.

While it's true that he has been less than pleasant to many people, it's important to note that this is a tribute thread. As always, he is the victim, and because he holds a position as mod he is in the right even when he is transparently wrong. His phallic avatar is not worthy of discussion, nor is the suggestion that he is somehow inadequate in that department, despite King Achilles' notes about the debacle.
Keep it clean people,
Sym

I like Dukasaur's avatar. It's entirely original, it's not like my "I <3 Norse" avi. Everybody loves Norse!

I didn't think newsletter editors had the power to ban people. Obviously I was mistaken. Duk, you still looking for writers/contributors?

Yeah, if you want to write for us, the door's always open.\
And just to be clear: Yes, I have the power to issue 24-hour bans, as do many mods, but I have never used it. Been sorely tempted, I will admit, but never clicked that particular button. Longer bans come from further up the food chain, and despite what some people will tell you, they are neither common nor filed without provocation. The world is full of misinformation. <sigh>

Right, moderators I think for a while have had the ability to issue low level 24 hour bans, typically used in unusual or emergency situations, but there may be something more systematic in their use now. And then anything higher got escalated to globals or admins typically.
On a side note, bananas.

Talk to me about it. One would almost think you were innocent in all of this.

I don't normally think like this, but the way you've worded this makes me want to ask... what kind of dog show was this??
Bollocks.
