This looks like a watercolor, but most likely it was done with a computer program. Regardless, it is a very nice piece that conveys movement and action very well. Also, the colors are very bright and vivid. The contrasts work quite well from dark stormy purplish hues to bright grasshopper greens.

That National Gallery of the Arts paid $280 million to acquire it.
